I am writing this letter to convey my current understanding about ISKCON as there are lot of quarreling going on the internet on various subjects involving ISKCON and other faiths. If I offend anyone by writing this letter, please forgive me as you are all advanced devotees of Krishna. I am only a beginner to Krishna consciousness and not even initiated yet. However, I thought It is the time I pass my comments on various matters. As we know the age of kali is for hypocrisy and quarreling, there bound to be always some body involved in quarrelling. I give below my observations to be undertaken by ISKCON leaders, which may help to spread the message of Lord Chaitanya maha prabhu and come out of current impasse created by bad publicity and mismanagement.

• For all the devotees who are serving in the temples, make it mandatory to read the scriptures (Bhagavath gita,Bhagavatham,Chaitanya caritamrita etc) for minimum of two hours per day to continue to remember the divine love in addition to the day to day service in the temple. This will help the devotees to be steady in their devotional service.
  
  
• Ensure that the devotees raise to the spiritual platform, where they are not envious but are kind friend to all living entities, do not think themselves proprietors and are free from false ego, be equal in both happiness and distress, be tolerant, be always satisfied, be self controlled, be engaged in devotional service with determination etc.
  
  
• Make new appointment for initiating guru, if one is advanced in devotional service and is aged above 45 — 50 years to avoid kanista adikaries being elevated as guru and falling down creating anguish and disappointment among the disciples.
  
  
• Reach out to all the children, who were abused in USA and apologize for what happened and offer counseling and support.
  
  
• Concentrate on house programmes without any fee, where five or ten families can be brought in to hear preaching with a Q & A session. This will help to bring in more and more devotees into Krishna consciousness in addition to the book distribution.
  
  
• When preaching to families, where women and children are present, avoid terms like sex, pre marital sex, multiple relationship, etc and use words like sinful activities which are not conducive to devotional service etc. His divine grace Prabhupada may have used some words explicitly for the consumption for devotees who have western cultural background. However, the same tone may not be repeated to predominantly Indian audience.
  
  
• Set up indices to measure the growth of ISKCON like the way mutual funds and shares being managed. Our aim is to propagate the Krishna consciousness all over the world. Indices such as no.of books sold, no.of devotees,no.of initiation,no.of sannayasi initiation,any other relevant datas can be collated and some sort of index is set to measure the real growth of the ISKCON movement. Every year this can be reviewed during the GBC meetings to take appropriate actions to continue to develop the movement. World population is currently estimated as six billion. We have to somehow, with the help of expert statistician set up an index ,which will measure the real growth of the movement in comparison to the world population.
  
  
• Encourage close co-operations with all other vaishnava groups to create a atmosphere where universal brotherhood can be established between various group who are trying to spread the movement created by Chaitanya maha prabhu.
  
  
• Agree that from Lord Krishna there is a tree of disciplic succession and not a line of succession to spread the devotional service. As such ISKCON is only a part of the tree and representing a line of disciplic succession. This realization will definitely make the devotees humble and treat all the vaishnavas with love and respect.

• Set up a cell to preach exclusively to political leaders and try to introduce Krishna consciousness from the school level. In India, school books will have to be re written with the help of the present government to spread Krishna consciousness.
  
  
• Try to bring back the devotees, who have left ISKCON for various reasons including the ones who left due to GBC’s resolutions wherein GBC has withdrawn those resolutions realizing their mistake.
