EDITORIAL   Hopefully They Will Wake Up BY SYAMASUNDARA DASA EDITORIAL, Apr 23 (VNN) — Dear respected vaisnavas, please accept my pranams, all glories to Sri Guru and Gauranga. Upon reading Srila prabhu's article I was inspired to offer these comments. While it is true that the GBC resolution 403 appears sweet, unless they take further steps to correct their mistakes, what is the good. It may be construed by many that this is just another smoke screen, or a show of "what honorable vaisnavas we are". It is well documented, that Srila Prabhupada, just before his departure from this planet, asked Srila Narayana Maharaja " you please help my disciples become suddha bhaktas". Yet we see that His Divine Grace has not been properly welcomed by ISKCON leaders. Contrary to this, we see that he has been offended, the target of smear and propaganda campaigns. Is it that he will be accepted after he leaves the planet? Will we recieve another apology and resolution from the GBC when they consider; "He's gone, he's no longer a threat to us? Hopefully they will wake up and set things right before that time comes. We never know when we will leave this plane. To commit such grave offenses, and leave this world without making the proper apologies, asking for forgiveness, can be a scary thought. I do pray, that for their benefit, and that of the society as a whole, the proper steps are taken to fulfill the desires of Srila Prabhupada.
