 Just A Quick Question

BY PRITI TEJA DASI
EDITORIAL, Apr 12 (VNN) Hare Krsna.
I just had a question to the writers of "An Open Letter To Srila Narayana Maharaja and His Followers" by the residents of Sarnagati posted on the CHAKRA website recently. Just a humble request to stop this political disturbance and judgments and try to really follow the teachings of Prabhupada. | |
I'm a gurukuli and I just wanted to ask the writers of this article whatever happened to Vaisnava etiquette that I have been brought up with my whole life? Myself, personally, have never met Narayan Maharaja, and thus I feel I have no reason to judge simply on hearsay. All these silly, childlike political issues that are going on really offends me. We seem to welcome people of all kind including bums, criminals and child molesters with open arms, but when it comes to other Vaisnavas who just want to talk about Krsna and have kirtan, they are banned because they are not ISKCON. I think you get my gist.
Just a humble request to stop this political disturbance and judgments and try to really follow the teachings of Prabhupada. I feel its a bad example to the future generations. If someone is inspired to worship Krsna and become a Vaisnava because of Narayana Maharaja, isn't that what Srila Prabhupada really wanted? For us all to attain love of God?? You can't force someone to not be inspired by someone because so and so said that he said this and did that.
If someone chants the holy name of the lord and desires to preach the glories of the Lord and in so doing inspires others, why is that such a crime? And have half these people, that judge and condemn Narayana Maharaja, even met him and/or looked into the gossip that is being spread like wildfire?? I haven't, so, therefore I ask "why"?? Where is the etiquette? The devotee etiquette? The human etiquette? Is this how you want the future of ISKCON to be? Fighting and bickering like children over who is for real? Please forgive me for my offences, I am just seeking truth...
Yours in the service of Krsna and Srila Prabhupada,
