F.I.R.s Sold In India Like Candy

BY KRITAKARMA DASA
EDITORIAL, Nov 8 (VNN) Many of us here in the Bay Area of San Francisco are deeply concerned with the unfair accusations involving our god-brother Bhakta dasa, and other devotees in Jagannatha Puri. Having served as a manager in Vrindaban for many years, I m very familiar with the corrupt system of false F.I.R.s (first information reports) and the local police departments in India.
One classic example is the one that was written against another god-brother stating the he was "holding" Kilan (then the guest house manager) at the time of his murder, and asking the murderer to "shoot". This god -brother was dancing next to me in Mangala Arati in front of Sri Sri Radha Shyamasundar at the exact time of the killing.
Yet "someone" had paid the police department 50,000 rupees to produce such false report. In conclusion, this devotee was arrested and had to spend over a month in jail and so much money had to be paid to the warden, and others during his stay in prison, for "better treatment".
Bhakta dasa has always been the "friend in need, the friend in deed" to the devotees that know him and served under his direction in our temples. My personal friendship with him, his children and their good character is a proof of this malicious and unfair accusation just to "make the rupees dance". I remain your servant,
Kritakarma dasa
