Come One, Come All

BY MAHAVEGAVATI DASI

EDITORIAL, Jun 2 (VNN) — Dear Assembled Vaisnavas,

Hare Krsna. All glories to Srila Prabhupada and the Vaisnava acaryas. Please accept my fallen obeisances.

sadhu sanga sadhu sanga sarva sastra kaya
lava matra sadhu sanga sarva siddhi haya

Be even one moment's association with Krsna's pure devotee, one can perfect one's life.

The perfection of life is to hear from Krsna's pure devotees, to accept their instructions in our lives and to repeat their messages given on behalf of Krsna.

As Srila Prabhupada elaborates in his purport in CC Adi 1.35 on the sastric verses concerning diksa and siksa guru, the disciple may accept only one diksa guru, but he may accept many siksa gurus. The spiritual master delivers the disciple by giving that disciple divya jnana. It is this which is our only reality in this human form of life.

His Holiness Bhakti Vallabh Tirtha Maharaj will be arriving in NYC on June 5th, and will be staying for a little more than one week, where he will be speaking Hari Katha and giving his association to all who wish to take it.

Gentle like a lamb, possessed of intense gravity, very childlike, innocent and quiet due to his humility, His Holiness preaches the Gaudiya Siddhanta boldly, and roars like a lion in his preaching against atheism and its conclusions. And Maharaj seems as if he can go on forever chanting the Holy Names on Harinam sankirtan, dancing down the streets of NYC. (I know because I saw him do so last year. His chanting and dancing even had me moving.)

To so many devotees who will be in NYC at this time, (for Rathayatra, and whatever), I strongly recommend you to come to meet Srila Bhakti Vallabh Tirtha Maharaj, who is sweetness personified, and whose words of Krsna consciousness sound exactly like those of Srila Prabhupada in its message.

I urge all devotees to come and take advantage of this rare and wonderful opportunity.
