All These Devotees Are Undoubtedly Magnimious Souls

BY MAYESVARA DASA

EDITORIAL, Mar 13 (VNN) — Sripad Tripurari Maharaja and Swami BG Narasingha Prabhus,

Please accept my respectful obeisances. All glories to Sri Guru & Sri Gauranga! All Glories To His Divine Grace AC Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada!

Thank you for taking a strong position with your response to Adridharana's extremely foolish and offensive newsletters. On one hand I too was very upset by his arrogant and stupid opinions about the work you are both committed to. Krishna says "ALL these devotees are undoubtedly MAGNIMIOUS Souls"... not just the ones who agree with a particular mood or style of preaching Krishna Consciousness. On the other hand I am not at all surprised by it at all. He has lost all his KC intelligence because he has been consumed with his personal ambitions.

“The simple fact is that Srila Prabhupada wanted us all to become so fixed up that we would take on disciples.”

I do not know if either of you are aware of the fact that I wrote several articles challenging Adri and company in the Winter of 1998-1999.

They were all published on VNN and Adri absolutely hated them because I was very effective in exposing the stupidity of their so called "Final Order" to the general public. I got numerous e-mails from devotees all over the word thanking me for pinpointing the slimy way the FO-Sastra twists and turns the logic of KC around and somehow magically ends up justifying aparada and a lazy, "Let Srila Prabhupada Do it all for us" mentality. The simple fact is that Srila Prabhupada wanted us all to become so fixed up that we would take on disciples. All the RtVik nonsense is just a flashy way for the less serious devotee to rationalize their desire to kick back and coast... very similar to evangelical Christians who are often the biggest hypocrites.

I am attaching the last article I wrote about the FO-Sastra simply to let you both know you have my 100% support. I do not profess to be a big pundit but my style of writing apparently did reach many of the average lay devotees and I though you might also find something in the text that might make reading it worth your time. At the end are a list of the other articles I wrote and the URLs to their location in the VNN archives.

Originally I was in the mood of trying to somehow accommodate those who wanted to see a RtVik system in ISKCON and it came to be known as AIM.

(Alternative Initiation Method) However the RtViks became enraged after I exposed their own double standard and incompetence in my article entitled: "The Jan 16th Reform Show" After that they wagered a full out attack on me and exposed their real mood... despite all the rhetoric about peaceful dealings and vaishnava etiquette. So all the articles after that were for the purpose of exposing their poor reasoning and a systematical dismantling of their holy sastra "The Final Order". Needless to say they did not like it.

I don't mean to sound rambling but I just wanted to let you know that I am with you and I wanted to at least share with you my small effort to contain the foolishness you have so properly identified in Adri's Newsletter. Please feel free to extract whatever may be of value from any of my published articles if you find any if it useful in your work. I have enclosed an endorsement for my attack on the FO-Sastra, which I was not expecting to receive, from Rochan Prabhu at the end of this letter. What makes his comments so meaningful is the that I am under the impression that he formerly leaned very strongly in favor of RtVik thinking and after he read the analysis I did on the Final order his comment was: 'In my opinion, he (mayesvara) has soundly defeated the Final Order and exposed it as: to quote: "nothing less then offensive to our Vaishnava line".'

If I can be of any further assistance to you in this regard then please give me that opportunity to do so. Please note that the two attached files are exactly the same except the one with EN on the end of the filename has the footnotes converted to End Notes for publication on the web. The other one has footnotes that get printed on the bottom of the page if you were to print the document out via the Microsoft Word Software.

Hoping this finds you well and nicely engaged in the service of Lord Krishna.

Rochans Endorsment:

I have spent the week-end studying Mayesvara dasa's articles previously been posted on VNN in which he expertly challenges the Final Order presented by the Rttvik pandits. I missed these articles during the period I was relocating to Kansas. Mayesvara's duly impressed me and I pray that you'll take the time to carefully read what he has to say. I want to thank him for taking the necessary time to compose such expert documentation.

Most of us don't have the time, skills, motivation and professionalism that he has been blessed with. In my opinion, he has soundly defeated the Final Order and exposed it as: to quote "nothing less then offensive to our Vaishnava line". One of the aspects of his efforts is that many sincere followers of Srila Prabhupada are being exposed as gullible, neophyte, manipulate-able sentimentalists in love with the idea of loving Srila Prabhupada rather than surrendering to follow the actual bonafide process of Bhaktiyoga and serve the one you love.

I wish that Mayesvara had the time and inclination to condense all his arguments and documents into one, more "clinical" thesis's similar to the FO. I realize that one of the criticisms of the FO is it's impersonal, forensic nature but it appears that many devotees seem to be attracted to that style. As Mayesvara has pointed out, KK is fairly expert in his ability to weave his conception of "truth" into a believable scenario. His efforts to counter-act this trend towards Rttvik-ism are certainly a heroic effort, which I am hoping he continues to take seriously for the sake of the "silent" majority.
