BY MAHAVEGAVATI DASI EDITORIAL, Jan 6 (VNN) — I received a copy of this article, (shown below), which was placed on Chakra by the ISKCON Minister of Justice. Maybe the Minister of Justice should do his duty when it comes to addressing injustices against devotees. Even when Sesa prabhu heard of a decision rendered by a committee set up UNDER HIS JURISDICTION, he would NOT see to it that that decision was carried out DESPITE HIS KNOWING THE FACTS of the matter. Rather, he would NOT address the issues, and "hid out" in his corner, using the "excuse" that I called present day ISKCON, ITS GON due to the lying of certain leaders, who Sesa prabhu KNEW had LIED to HIM. Maybe Sesa should put down his "facts" about Airavata prabhu's activities, rather than just make the statement that he has. Maybe Sesa prabhu should say something about the various ISKCON sanyasis who go and stay in luxurious hotels, etc. when they go on their travels. Is THAT NOT a MISUSE of Krsna's laxmi? (And what about the other abuses that are purportrated by various ISKCON leaders? Sesa prabhu does NOT speak about these things. WHY NOT? Isn't he the "Minister of Justice"? All this aside; for ANYONE to be preaching in these Muslim countries, they are to be commended. It is VERY DANGEROUS to be preaching in these countries. (I know it first hand.) Often the penalty for preaching in these countries, is IMMEDIATE DEATH, and/or TORTURE IF one is CAUGHT for preaching in these countries. Sesa prabhu should put up his facts to substantiate his allegations. (After all, Sesa IS a lawyer. He SHOULD KNOW this. Why are you just making the accusations? PROVIDE THE PROOF to substantiate!!!) Then again, Sesa prabhu can't, (or won't?) do HIS DUTY as "Minister of Justice", (or should we call him the Minister of INjustice?), when it comes to ACTUAL cases which are addressed to him as the "Minister of Justice" since he seems to be supporting so much of the injustices that are taking place in our movement, INCLUDING his KNOWING about a decision in which TWO GBC LEADERS LIED to him, which Sesa would NOT carry out. (Sesa KNEW the facts of the decision rendered, because they were told to him by the other witnesses present. STILL, Sesa prabhu would NOT do his duty.) Sesa Das ISKCON GBC MINISTRY OF JUSTICE WARNING RE: AIRAVATA DAS By Sesa Das All devotees and supporters of ISKCON are advised not to offer financial support to Airavata das for preaching in the Muslim countries. The Ministry of Justice has received very credible complaints that Airavata das has misappropriated funds donated to him for printing books. Airavata das has ignored repeated requests from myself to provide information, which would help resolve the apparent discrepancies in his financial dealing with donors. Anyone interested in contributing to the preaching in areas in which Airavata das is working should contact the GBC member responsible for those areas, Harivilas Prabhu.
